Motivation vs Discipline

 Motivation is often guided by emotions.

Discipline comes from logic and self control. You know the only way to get it done is to do it. So you do it (if you can master the emotions, feelings of boredom etc).

Motivation is a human system whereas discipline is more of a human strategy.

Motivation depends on rewards and punishments that emerge in our environment and is the drive to our approach and avoidance behaviour.
